Install a Companion fifth-wheel hitch in your truck bed with this custom kit. Better than a traditional mounting kit, this setup doubles as a gooseneck hitch when the fifth wheel is removed, and the underbed design allows for full bed access.

This fifth wheel installation kit actually is the Turnoverball gooseneck hitch from B&W.
Gooseneck Specs:
With the B&W Turnoverball underbed gooseneck trailer hitch you get the best of both worlds. When you go to tow a gooseneck trailer, the Turnoverball creates a sturdy, dependable connection with your trailer. And when you're done towing, you can stow the ball upside down in the hitch to get full bed access and a clean appearance. When you're ready to tow your fifth wheel trailer, just install the Companion in the ball hole in place of the gooseneck ball and lock the post in place using the built-in handle. You can remove the fifth wheel when you're done towing, leaving your truck bed open once again.
Simple, Custom Installation
This kit is custom designed for your vehicle. The mounting brackets bolt to existing holes in your truck's frame. While some modification is required - you will need to cut a 4" diameter hole in your bed for the hitch ball and drill holes for the built-in safety chain loops - there is no need to weld onto or to drill into your frame.
Once you have the brackets and center section installed, set up the operating handle. This handle is designed to be accessed from the rear driver's-side wheel well. On the end of the handle is the heavy-duty steel pin that secures the mounting post of the Companion (or the base of the gooseneck hitch ball).

All in all everything went together pretty well and I did the install single handed. Couple whacks with a mallet and a few choice %$#@ and a ^%$@!, and it went together exactly as described. Another pair of hands would certainly have helped with the center section but only a bit. Missing one flat and one lock washer- 2 washers away from 5 stars. Can't really complain too much about that so I'm a satisfied customer!

At first I looked for a shop to install my hitch, but after watching your videos I decided to go for it myself. If you read the directions carefully and have average wrenching skills the B & W underbed install for gooseneck was pretty straightforward.
It took perhaps 4 hours for me to install. Now I KNOW it was installed correctly and understand the hitch system to a t. Great product. Hooked up to my 15,000 lb fifth wheel and towed with ease using the Companion 5th wheel set up that is designed to be used with the underbed gooseneck.
Everything was delivered on time and in great condition and the quality of the B&W is outstanding. Thank you!
This is my 2nd B&W underbed 5th wheel/gooseneck kit. Both have installed with reasonable ease, especially considering how many parts under the bed can interfere. No cutting or modifying to fit required. All hardware is provided and everything is heavy duty. This went on a 2015 F250 gas. If I get another truck I will get another B&W kit.
As always the product came quickly. I bought a B and W gooseneck hitch. My son and I installed it in my 2015 F-250 in about 2 hrs. It was a cake walk. Everything fit together great and extremely easy. Looking forward to using it to pull our horse trailer to go camping. Looks like I'll be buying from etrailer some more. This item was delivered On time and in great condition...the installation instructions were easy to follow and went in as stated. I was hesitant to saw a 4 in h hole in the bed of the truck thinking it might be off but...it fit exactly where the hole was. Sweet! I just can't say more a out how happy we are with this. This is my second item delivered from etrailer. I got the fifth wheel for the Dodge truck also. Thank you.

Well made, the instructional video helped tremendously as I am a visual learner. The powder coating job is excellent and the hitch works great with the B&W Companion.
The Installation was simple and the video provide step by step instructions. I finished the installation in about four and a half hours in my driveway without the use of a lift. The mount is excellent quality and very sturdy.

I spoke with Jamie to make sure I ordered the correct 5th wheel hitch for my truck and she went above and beyond. Ordered 11-July (Monday morning) and was delivered 14-July (Wednesday afternoon). I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Haven't installed the hitch yet so only time will tell on that.
All the parts are clean and well made. The install went well. I really like the under bed mounting instead of the rails in the bed that get in the way.
Under bed installation went very well in my 2016 F350. My bed appeared to already come with a dimple mark for the 4 inch hole, but I checked measurements anyway. Good thing I did because the factory mark was 5/8 inch off toward bumper. Other than that, install was a snap. Took my brother and I 100 minutes start to finish.

The video sent via email with the purchase was 100% exact to my truck and made it really easy to install. I never had to look at the directions because the video showed everything step-by-step. A local truck supply shop was going to charge $700 and said it would take all day. I did it in 4.5 hours with the video and it was the first time installing one of these. Highly impressed overall.

Whole system still working well, no rusting or seizing of components. Only issue I have had was one of the bolts on the exhaust lowering bracket came loose, needs a Nylock nut. Other than that, very happy with purchase.
Was easy to install and is easy to use. I would buy again if I bought another truck.
